RGC is backing the drive to grow the game of golf and has achieved the SafeGolf club accreditation from England Golf, demonstrating commitment to safeguarding children and young people, as well as adults who may be at risk in the sport of golf.

Due to the current course conditions and the fact we are having to play a shortened course it is apparent that the 2 tee start on a Sunday does not work. Therefore we will be operating a one tee start on Sundays until further notice.

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel the traditional Boxing Day competition.

The Lady Captain’s handover has taken place with 2020 captain Barbara Gregory handing over the baton to 2021 captain Penny Holroyd.

Bookings for December 6th will open on BRS at 9pm this evening (Tuesday 24th November). The Gents will be playing an Individual Turkey Trot and the Ladies will be playing in a Team competition.

Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club has successfully applied to become a signatory of the R&As Women in Golf Charter, a global drive to increase the number of women and girls participating in golf and to encourage more opportunities for women to work within the golf industry.
